This week pastor John sits down with Pastor Chris Ledley (Next Gen Pastor at Sandhills Community Church)  to discuss a biblical theology of dating and love. As we have spent the last couple of weeks discussing a biblical theology of sexuality we now discuss the Ins and outs of relationships as God has desired them to be expressed. 

 

We also take time to discuss the negative connotations associated with the churches historical position on “purity culture” and how that has burned people away from the church.

On today's episode Pastor John sits down with Dr. Steve Johnson from Columbia International University (also head of the Albert Ellis Institute in NYC) to discuss the fundamentals of how the church should approach conversations around the topic of homosexuality. As the world enters Pride Month the church should be asking itself how it can continue to grow in Christ centered love & respect for the LGBTQ+ community. Through an analysis of church history, scripture, and psychology we hope to lay a framework for how every Christian should approach people and conversations on this topic.
